The Texas Education Agency has just released new public health guidance (https://tea.texas.gov/sites/default/files/covid/SY-20-21-Public-Health-Guidance.pdf) on September 2. Eula ISD will be updating its Safe Return to In-Person Instruction & Continuity of Services Plan. The only significant change is that if a member of the student’s household tests positive for COVID-19, then the student must stay home for the stay-at-home period (10 days, 7 days with negative test). Eula ISD Administration feels this change will aid in the health and safety of students, staff, and families. If you have any questions contact the office of your child’s school. Awesome things are happening at EISD. Mrs. Hewitt’s 4th grade class is piloting a new app called Rhithm. The app will be pushed out gradually to all Eula students. Rhithm is a K12 student and staff wellness check-in tool. The platform selects an ideal 1-3 minute SEL activity/intervention video to regulate well-being based on user given data from a simple emoji assessment. This data is available on dashboards to reflect and connect with as desired at the campus, district/network and state levels. #thisiseula #eeshootingforthemoon
