Congratulations to Breanna Blevins who made 3rd chair euphonium in the concert band at All-Region Band tryouts in Midland today. She will get to participate in the All-Region Band Clinic and Concert on January 14th and 15th at Big Spring HS. #thisiseula

The Pirates defeated Blackwell to finish 3rd in the tournament. The Lady Pirates defeated Cornerstone to win first place at the Blackwell tournament. #thisiseula

The Eula Pirates will play in the 3rd Place Game of the Blackwell Tournament today at 2:30, and the Lady Pirates will play for the Championship at 4:00PM. Come out and support! Keep in mind games have been running ahead of schedule much of the weekend. #thisiseula

The Pirates and Lady Pirates traveled to Hawley. The Pirates won 44-40. The Lady Pirates won 47-36. The JV boys lost and the JV girls won. #thisiseula

Eula FFA received many awards last night at the District Banquet in Abilene. We also received 1st in Single-Teacher Sweepstakes. I’m very proud of all these kids and their dedication to the FFA.

Over the weekend the Jr. High Band participated in the All Region Band competition in San Angelo. Mr. Hooper too 28 students this year and below is a list of the results. Several student qualified to play with the All Region Band in January! Congrats to Mrs. Millette’s English classes for participating in the VFW’s Patriots Pen essay contest. Brayden Ferguson placed 1st and Macy Flatt placed 3rd. Brayden’s essay will advance to the state level. Way to go Pirates!! #thisiseula
