The Lady Pirates took down Throckmorton 60-16 tonight to win the Gene Thompson Memorial Tournament in Munday. Way to go Lady Pirates! #thisiseula
The undefeated Eula Pirates took down Ira 70-25 to win the Highland Hilltop Classic today. Way to Go Pirates! #thisiseula
Mr. Hooper took 14 students to San Angelo today to compete in the Middle School All-Region Band Competition. He had 4 students receive accolades: Hartleigh Dahlberg made Symphonic Band on Tenor Trombone, Addison Heikes made Symphonic Band on the Percussion, Kassidy Souders made Symphonic Band on the Flute, and Avery Nations made the Honor Band on the Tenor Trombone! Great job ladies and to all our students who competed today. Thank you for your hard work and thank you Mr. Hooper for your dedication to seeing our students succeed! Way to go Pirates!!!
Championship Saturday for the Pirates and Lady Pirates! Both teams will play for a tournament championship today.
The Pirates will try to stay undefeated on the year, as they take on Ira at 2:15 in the Highland Hilltop Classic Championship. Go Pirates!

The Freshman class is selling Christmas Grams! This is an easy way to send a Christmas gift to a friend, co-worker, or big/little pirate. Attached is a picture of what can be ordered. Order forms can be picked up and dropped back off in the HS/JH office and the Elementary office. Orders will be taken starting December 1st until December 8th. Today Eula JH participated in the District Academic UIL Speaking events today in Cross Plains. The following students placed in Oral Reading: Haiden Cauthen placed 5th for the 7th grade and Modern Oratory: for the 7th grade Addison Heikes was 5th, James Blevins was 6th and Sophie Ruscher was 7th, for the 8th grade Ty-Gunner Estrella was 2nd, Cash Goretska was 5th, and Logan Arispe was 6th.
For 6th grade Impromptu Kipley Sutton was 1st, Maggie Damron was 2nd, and Caroline Aguirre was 4th.
Great job by all our students who participated, they represented Eula well both academically and with how they behaved. Great to be a PIRATE!!
