In observance of Texas Independence Day yesterday, Mrs. Walker’s 4th graders had the privilege of listening to Monette Scott and Amy Crockett talk about what life what life was like for citizens during the Texas Revolution. Ms. Crockett demonstrated the process of how to turn cotton into clothing. They also learned to make their own butter like colonists! Finally, the 4th graders participated in the “Come and Take It” Relay to honor the “Old 300”, the families to ventured out to start our great state!! #thisiseula #eeshootingforthemoon 🇨🇱🐂⭐️🏴☠️
