The Junior High Basketball Pirates and Lady Pirates both win their divisions at the Highland Tournament today. Great job athletes and coaches! #PiratePride

The Pirates and Lady Pirates had a successful Homecoming. The Lady Pirates improved to 5-0 and the Pirates to 3-0 in district play. Both JV teams won as well.

The Lady Pirates improved to 3-0 in district with a 67-47 win over Strawn. The boys opened up district with a 90-19 victory over the Greyhounds. Both JV teams also won.

Way to go Mini Cheer! Great job at your performance tonight during halftime of the boy’s game vs. Strawn. The future is bright for Pirate Cheer!! Go Pirates!!

The Lady Pirates improves to 2-0 in district with a 65-22 win over Gordon. The Pirates defeated Brownwood 62-56. Great job Pirates!!!

The JV Boys will play Brownwood at 5:00, the Varsity Girls will play Gordon at 6:16, and the Varsity Boys will play Brownwood. All games are at the High School Gym.

Tomorrow night is Elementary Night at the basketball games. Elementary students get in for free, so see you tomorrow night at the games as we support our Pirates.

On January 9-11, many Eula students competed in the Callahan County Livestock Show. The kids did great job, and have been working hard on their projects. Eula Jr. High students competed in the Regional TCEA Robotics competition on Saturday at ACU. Sanjana Peterson, Kinsey Lawrence, and Sophie Abril placed 1st in the Intermediate Division. John Powers and Riley Johnson placed 1st in the Advanced Division, and Katie McCollum and Clayton Gray placed 2nd. All these students qualified for the State Competition. Other competitors included Hunter Spohn, Caysen Smith, Hailie Cauthen, Carly Newman, Layla Fostel, Laney Fostel, and Ava Millette. Congratulations to Sponsor Toby Christian and all Pirate competitors.

The Lady Pirates opened up District play with a 48-28 win at Baird. The Pirates took down Cross Plains 84-53. Both teams are back at home Tuesday night. #PiratePride

There will be no Girls JV game tomorrow at Baird. The Varsity Girls will open up district play @ Baird at 6:00. The boys will be in Cross Plains. JV starting at 5:00.
