Eula ISD Families,
The staff at Eula ISD hopes you are enjoying your summer break and staying healthy. We understand that our students and families are anxiously awaiting clarification as to what the 2020-2021 school year will look like. The Eula ISD Administration has been working continuously to prepare for the year and is in constant communication with the Texas Education Agency. We receive new information every day and are utilizing this to put plans into action. As of today, July 14th, we are planning the following:
- Traditional, in-person instruction on campus with safety precautions being developed by Eula ISD beginning August 19th for those who choose to attend.
- Those choosing not to attend will have access to remote learning at home which will require more from the school and student than remote instruction that occurred in the spring. This will include, but not be limited to, a more traditional grading approach, daily assignments due, logged time spent daily on instruction, and daily attendance taken.
- Participation in certain Extra-Curricular activities will follow No Pass, No Play rules and may be linked to an in-person learning model.
Since March, this situation has been fluid, and we continue to receive new guidance from State officials daily. Please understand that your school Administration and staff is working diligently to prepare to provide the high-quality education that you have become accustomed to at Eula ISD. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through a very complicated situation. We will continue to update you as pertinent information becomes available. Stay safe and healthy.

Eula ISD has decided to cancel summer strength, conditioning, and skill work this week week. The gym and weight room will be closed during this time. We will plan on resuming summer strength and conditioning on July 13th unless we determine it is not what is best for our students and staff. We are not aware of any Covid-19 cases among staff or athletes that have been attending. This is done as a precaution. Stay Safe! #PiratePride

I would like to thank everyone who made the unique graduation of the Class of 2020 a success. First I would like to thank the graduates and their families for being understanding and supportive throughout this process. I would also like to thank Ms. Collins, Ms. Vogler, and Mr. Turner for their hours of work getting everything ready. I am also thankful for Mr. Kelley, Coach Fostel, and the Board of Trustees for their guidance. Thank you Coach Carson, Coach Masonheimer, and Ms. Dean for being class sponsors who were ready and willing to help when called upon.
